HCI Illustrations

Here is another cover of Hydro Review dealing with legal issues; this from April, 2006. One of the contrivances that I frequently used in these illustrations was warping the scale. There are two groups of people inspecting the dam; my favorite is the family on top walking their dog. When I was at Massachusetts College of Art in the early 1970s I was introduced to the drawings of Claes Oldenburg, especially his “Proposed Colossal Monuments,” which still delight me; their influence can be detected here.
