This illustration appeared on the cover of the November 1998 issue of Hydro Review magazine. The image is of an inconceivably huge mother ship in the form of a hydroelectric turbine, seen here orbiting the earth. I suppose we were trying to convey a sense of technological advancement. As with the previous cover, the artwork was done using watercolor and airbrush. My art director, Sarah Bent, liked referring to this style as “metallic splendor”.
